As I have mentioned on Twitter and in a couple of previous blog posts, Ben and I recently went on a weekend away to Cornwall, which has become one of our favourite places to visit.
Last time we went (October 2017) we stayed in Padstow, in a hotel called The Metropole and we weren’t crazy about it, for us it was a little bit over priced for what you got, and the room had some issues, however the location was perfect.
This time however we decided to try somewhere new and we chose to stay in Bude at a hotel called An Mor and we were pleasantly surprised.
I just want to point out that I am not someone who wants 5* luxury or anything like that, you know, we book a hotel so we have somewhere to sleep and get ready, other than that we aren’t in the hotel at all, so really I just want it to be clean and comfortable.
So onto the tour;
The room was lovely and we had sea views out of the one of the windows. The decor was really nice, not dated in any way which is one of the issues we had the with the previous hotel.
In all honestly the hotel in general was really nice in fact and I would probably stay here again.
The only issue we really found was with the town itself, not the hotel. For us Bude was a little bit too far north, so we were having to travel quite far to do anything but otherwise we had a lovely time in this hotel and I thoroughly recommend!
Hope you guys enjoyed this!
Talk to you soon!
