Top 3 – Revolution Beauty Products

Continuing my Top 3 Series today I wanted to talk to you about Revolution Beauty. This is a brand that has featured heavily in recent hauls but isn’t a brand I have really delved into in terms of reviews.

In this post I will be talking you through my top three products, excluding the Fast Base Foundation because I gave that its own stand alone post and I would just be repeating myself.

So first up –

Revolution Ultra 32 Shade Palette Flawless Matte

What –

This 32 pan eyeshadow palette comes with a variety of neutral matte shades, allowing you to create a number of eye shadow looks, from the very basic every day eye, to a dramatic smokey eye, and almost everything inbetween.

What do I think –

I love this palette, I think the colour story is to die for. There are shades to brighten, to add depth, a black to add drama, the colours aren’t super crazy pigmented meaning they can be built up without creating something overly dramatic right out of the gate. They blend gorgeously with each other and also make a good base for something more metallic, or for a cut crease allowing for all the focus to be on the lid. I also think these are great value for money, I picked mine up on sale for just £5 but the RRP is only £8, and 32 shades for £8 is a complete bargain.

Up next –

Revolution Renaissance Flick Eyeliner

What –

Housed in rose gold packaging, this felt tip eyeliner is richly pigmented, fast drying and long lasting. Capable of providing a subtle line, or a full wing, it is ideal for any level of liquid liner confidence.

What do I think –

I love this, obviously. I picked mine up on whim when I saw it the clearance bin because the outer box was damaged. When I tried it, I was instantly impressed. The liner is inky black, with a smooth application that dries fast and doesn’t budge. However for all its longevity, this removes super easily with every cleanser I have tried. You can use this to create a variety of looks, from a subtle line to hide a lash band, to a full dramatic winged out look. Its super easy to use, and stays put. Also lets be real, the packaging is stunning on this. Retailing at £5, what more can you ask for?!

Finally –

Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer

What –

Available in 25 shades ranging from fair to deep, neutral to pink undertones, this high coverage concealer is for everyone. Highly pigmented, with a matte finish this product can be used to conceal, highlight, or even contour, creating a flawless, even base. It also features a large doe foot applicator for smooth application that doesn’t skip or pull.

What do I think –

This concealer is amazing, I actually think it may have replaced my Collection Lasting Perfection. Its super pigmented meaning that it covers everything, but the formula looks even and flawless, without looking cakey and like you are wearing a crap tonne of makeup. A little bit goes a long way with this, I use one swipe under each eye and blend out with my beauty sponge, I then set it with powder to stop it creasing. This lasts all day, doesn’t crease and keeps me looking fresh and awake, even if I feel the complete opposite.
