Review – Kueshi Double Effect Facial Makeup Remover

Today we are going to be looking at the Kueshi Double Effect Facial Makeup Remover that I received a few months ago in a Glossybox.

I have been using this on and off for a few months, basically trying out this and a few other makeup removers at the same time and I have definitely acquired some thoughts about this product.

So what is it?

This is a gentle make up remover, that can remove waterproof and long-lasting makeup. It cleans effectively without leaving a greasy film. The clear part, is an oil that removes the makeup whilst the blue part is a very mild lotion that provides freshness and moisture. It is quick and easy to use.

How to use it?

Simply shake the product to combine the two parts and then saturate a cotton pad. Apply product to face to move makeup

What do I think?

I personally don’t like this. Not because it doesn’t work, because yeah, it removes make up pretty easily, I don’t have an issue with its effectiveness. The problem I have is that no matter how much you shake it, the two parts separate really quickly so by the time you have poured it onto a cotton pad you have a really oily cotton pad with a small amount of the blue solution. This leaves skin really greasy and for me its kinda gross because I hate that feeling.
I find myself having to take an additional dry cotton pad to my skin to try and absorb some of the excess oil, but even then, my skin still feels greasy and gross.

Would I recommend?

No, probably not. I mean, if your okay with having oily feeling skin, then yeah go for it, it does work as a make up remover. But if your not okay with that, I would stay clear of this. There are plenty of other make up removers on the market that are just as good or better.

Thanks for reading guys!

Talk to you soon!
