I can’t quite believe another month has gone by, but here we are on October 1st, so you know what that means? Its time for a monthly top 5 round up.
I started this series last month and quite liked the idea of sharing my top 5 things that I haven’t necessarily reviewed or shared with you in hauls. Some of the things I share in the Top 5 will be things I have reviewed or shared but not all.
Lets jump into this months favourites
First up, and one thing I have nearly finished is the Original Source Mango Shower Gel. I have been using this since the beginning of the month when I picked it up at Tesco for just £1 and my god does it smell good. I mean all Original Source Shower Gels smell good but this one just really appealed to me. The scent lingers after use, it foams nicely and leaves skin hydrated not stripped.
What more can you ask for only £1?

Next up, the Dr.Botanicals PO Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask.
I got this as a sample in the August Birchbox and have been using it a couple weeks after receiving it. Since the start of September I have been using it every week, sometimes twice a week after doing my full in depth skin care routine, then been climbing into bed to let it do its thing. This mask is said to help repair and restore moisture in the skin while you sleep, you then cleanse as normal the following morning to reveal beautifully soft, hydrated skin.
I was skeptical at first about this product and the first time I used it I was a little unsure of the amount needed and how much to rub it in, but I have since figured out what works for my skin and I have to say the results from this are really nice. I wake up with my skin feeling plump, hydrated and baby soft, which makes makeup application a breeze.

The Klorane Nourishing Conditioner with Mango Butter was amazing. Another sample from Birchbox, one that I finished in its entirety. I Think I was on a bit of a Mango kick in September which is weird considering I don’t like actual Mango, but this conditioner was lovely. It left my hair silky soft, smelling amazing but left some grip to my hair so that it was still easy to style. Often I find with conditioners that my hair can be too soft and silky and I am unable to style it the way I want but that wasn’t the case with this. The scent lingered too so that’s a bonus in my book. I didn’t use this everyday, I used it weekly and let it sit for around 5 minutes before rinsing out.

The Pantene Expert Hydra Intensify Velvet Creme Infusion has been a hair saviour recently. I bought this a few months back for just 50p in a Boots Clearance Bin and kinda forgot about it until the end of August / Early September when I started using it every few days on my hair. This product is a leave in conditioner, but it is designed to be used on dry hair, not wet, so you wash and style as normal and then work this through the ends. I love how this makes my hair feel, without weighing it down, or looking greasy. It provides moisture and nourishment with out changing the overall texture of my hair, leaving it feeling soft, healthy and full of life.
Shop – I actually think this might have been discontinued but can still be found on amazon / ebay.
Last but not least, the Loreal Unlimited Mascara. I wrote a full review about this so I’m not going to repeat the same things to you again but in short, I love this stuff. I think it applies wonderfully, it doesn’t flake, its jet black, its easy to remove, it builds volume and length. Its an all round good really good mascara that I have been wearing pretty much every day since I bought it.
