Review – Coco & Eve Like A Virgin Hair Masque

Hellloooo!

Today I have a little review of a product I have been using for the past couple of weeks.

I originally got this little sample size tube of the Coco & Eve Like A Virgin Hair Masque back in my February Birchbox, and it just kinda sat in my ‘to try’ drawer since then. But recently my hair has been a bit lack lustre and a bit meh so I decided to start trying some of the products I have stored.

So far I have gotten 3 uses out of this tiny tube and I still have probably one more use to go before its empty. Its worth noting that I do have quite short hair so I don’t need to use a lot of product to cover the ends.

The Coco & Eve hair masque claims to “Revive dry, damaged hair, Repair hair from the inside out, Restore hair to its natural state, Tame frizz and Condition from root to tip to hydrate even the thirstiest of hair.”

The masque is applied to damp, clean hair and left in place for up to ten minutes, which is a nice time to leave it on as it gives you time to do your complete shower routine before rinsing it clean.

But does it work?

Honestly this stuff is dreamy. It hydrates, it helps to volumise, and leaves hair feeling healthy and full of life without weighing it down. I leave it on for around 5 minutes and just let it sit.

I can 100% see why this product is a cult favourite. Its the best of all worlds and my hair absolutely loves it. Usually with hair masques they can be quite heavy, and make my straight hair just look limp and lifeless but this is the polar opposite, my hair feels full, thick, deeply conditioned but not ‘slippy’ you know? Like when your hair is so over conditioned that it can’t hold a style.. or a bobbypin because they just slide out? This doesn’t do that at all.

Its such a gorgeous, well rounded product and I highly, highly recommend this.
