Today I wanted to share with you my current makeup routine for work.
If you have followed me for a while, you’ll know I have to keep my makeup pretty simple at work because I don’t have any opportunity to check on it, or fix it because I can’t have my make up on me at work, so I kinda have to just apply it, and hope for the best.
I wanted to share with you the products I use, and the order in which I use them.
First I start with Concealer –
I use the Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer, I apply a small amount under each eye, a little around my smile lines, my chin and my forehead, and then I blend it out with a dampened Real Techniques Sponge.
After I have blended it out, I go in with Maybelline Face Studio Setting Powder.
I apply this with the same dampened sponge, and apply it to my under eyes and chin to set the concealer. I do this kinda like baking but I don’t use a whole tonne of product, I leave it on whilst I move on to the next step.
I first go in with with the ELF Lock On Liner and Brow Cream, with a small angled brush, I start with the bottom of my brows and draw a line across the bottom, then the top, following the arch and then I fill them in with any remaining product on the brush.
Then I go in with a brow gel to set them into place
I’ve been using the Loreal Brow Artist Plumper for ages now and I absolutely love it. It has fibres in it to thicken, it add colour and keeps my brows locked into place without being crunchy.
After brows I sweep off the excess powder with the ELF HD Pressed Powder
This is a lovely setting powder, its translucent, its long lasting, it gets rid of shine and its just a really great powder.
After this I move on to Mascara
I first curl my lashes then go in with two coats of my favourite mascara, I adore this, I’ve talked about it on here before, so no need for me to go on and on about it, but I love this, its super volumising, it lengthens, it doesn’t flake or smudge, its amazing.
I finish with setting spray which I oddly forgot to photograph.
So that’s it, a few simple steps that make me feel like me!
Hope you enjoyed this post.
Talk to you soon!
