Today I wanted to share with you what I got in my latest Birchbox.
This months box was created in Partnership with Paperchase, so alongside the products, we were also treated to a voucher to save money on the next purchase at Paperchase.
The products, pretty true to Birchbox are majority deluxe samples with one full size product.
So lets take a look at what I got
I have to be completely honest, this box was actually the most disappointing box that I have ever received (and I have been getting these boxes for well over a year).
So part of the Birchbox Process is a ‘Beauty Profile’ which asks you a series of questions like hair colour, hair type, make up preferences etc and they use that information to tailor the products to you.
However, this month that completely failed and I was sent both a purple shampoo for blonde hair and a blonde shade of the Benefit Gimmie Brow, despite the fact that my beauty profile states Brown for both hair colour and eyebrow colour. So straight away thats two products that I can’t use.. I will be holding onto them incase you know.. I ever go back to blonde.
I will say that Birchbox did contact me before I had a chance to contact them, to let me know that they had made an error by sending me the shampoo and gave me the option for an extra product in my next box or a £5 voucher to spend on the store, but that doesn’t explain the Gimmie Brow, or make up for the fact that I can’t use two of the products sent to me.
So there we have it. This months Birchbox, in all its disappointing glory.
Hope you enjoyed this post.
Talk to you soon!
